Since the introduction of our first CNC controller and machines in 1985, ATOS engineering has remained a leading innovator by consistently advancing its product line. Today, our controllers and machines are used worldwide in industries ranging from automotive, laser processing, semiconductor and material handling, textiles, manufacturing and test robots, measurement equipment for water level and flow control in rivers, position control on weirs, bridges and in nuclear plants, heavy industry and others requiring high precision, high throughput and reliable solutions.

All great things come from humble beginnings. ATOS engineering was founded by Sus Proost and Lisette Driessens in December of 1985, out of Sus Proosts own garage.
Less than 3 years after our founding, ATOS engineering manages to attract the attention of our first international customer, a company located in France.
Early 1996 we broke ground to construct the current ATOS headquarters. In later years this building would be expanded with testing and calibration facilities.
The sale of multiple functionality and durability test machines to South-Korea in 2002, marks our first steps in the Asian market.
France was just the beginning. Over the next decade and a half, ATOS expanded its customer base to 14+ countries all over Europe.
With machines running all over Europe as well as Eastern Asia, Australia and North & South America, ATOS engineering has achieved a truely global presence
